Archives Intern
Lambda Archives of San Diego (January–May 2026, expected)
Process, arrange, rehouse, label, and perform preservation activities on unprocessed archival collections containing a variety of material types
Describe collections by creating Encoded Archival Description (EAD) finding aids in accordance with Describing Archives: A Content Standard (DACS)
Create item-level metadata for separated special collections materials (banners, textiles, buttons/pins, audiovisual materials, etc.) that are inventoried and stored separately from archival collections
Use ArchivesSpace to create digital finding aids at the collection and accession levels. See here for an example of my work
Graduate Assistant to the Web Technologist
San Jose State University (March 2025–Present)
Respond to and resolve technical issues on the SJSU iSchool website as reported by faculty and staff
Use Drupal to implement website updates and structural changes
Regularly apply HTML and utilize SFTP and VPN tools to manage and maintain web content
Digital Web Archivist
Busy Beaver Button Museum (August–December 2025)
Conducted historical research to determine provenance and contextual significance of archival materials
Applied technical, descriptive, and administrative metadata using controlled vocabularies to digital museum collection files
